December 15, 2005 The remastered series of BOC's back catalogue will continue, with remastered re-releases of "Spectres" and "Some Enchanted Evening" slated for release in 2006, probably in the fall. Each release will contain extra never-before-released tracks. |
November 8, 2005 A new video game, "Guitar Hero" for PlayStation has been released and includes "Godzilla" as a playable song. The game is played with a guitar-shaped controller, and the player presses buttons in time with the music to complete the song. If a button drops out, then so does part of the song. |

January 3, 2005 Legendary Rockers Blue Oyster Cult are making available a very limited edition set of prints (400 prints only) of the album cover art from their most recent live album and DVD "Long Day's Night". The print is numbered and signed by founding members Buck Dharma, Eric Bloom, Allan Lanier and cover artist Ioannis (Deep Purple, Allman Brothers, Fates Warning, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Yngwie Malmsteen). March 30, 2005 John Shirley claims, "I'LL SIGN YOUR GRANDMA'S BRASSIERE--EVEN IF SHE'S IN HER COFFIN (but you have to bring her to the bookstore)." Mr. Shirley will be appearing at a book signing and chat at Dark Delicacies bookstore in Burbank, CA. The event takes place this Saturday, April 2. He mentions that he'll sign "The Crow" memorabilia, (he co-wrote the screenplay), Blue Oyster Cult memorabilia, scraps of paper, and his own books. They'll have the new edition of "In Darkness Waiting" on sale at the bookstore, as well as the "Constantine" movie novelization he wrote.
