June 4, 2009 At last night's BÖC show at Captain Hiram's Resort in Sebastian, FL, David Lucas came up on stage to play cowbell on "(Don't Fear) The Reaper." It was at Lucas' jingle studio that BÖC cut their first album, and he was again a heavy collaborator on Agents of Fortune and Spectres--he is the man responsible for adding the cowbell that would later become so famous on "Reaper." And last night he reprised that role. |
June 3, 2009 Blue Öyster Cult returns to the stage June 3 for a show in Florida. The band was forced to take a hiatus to allow guitarist Buck Dharma to recuperate after he fell down the stairs at home. All the dates that had been previously postponed will be rescheduled, if they are not already. |
June 2 , 2009 Blue Öyster Cult will be visiting Greece again at the end of 2009. Two dates have been scheduled, one in Athens at Gagarin 205 on December 12, and the next day in Thessaloniki at the Principal Club Theatre. |
